To cross-fade items

1. On the View menu, point to Enhancements, and then click Crossfading and Auto Volume Leveling.
2. In the Enhancements pane, click the Turn on Crossfading link, if visible.
3. Move the slider to select the amount of time that you want the items to overlap.

Note

• During playback, the audio cross-fade feature gradually overlaps the end of the current item (such as a song) with the beginning of the next item. The result is a smooth audio transition from one item to the next as the first item fades down and the next item fades up. The effect is similar to how songs on the radio are typically played.
• To hide the crossfading and auto volume leveling settings, in the Enhancements pane, click the Close button.
